Wireless Technician (VA)

Description

Our custromer is one of the largest Telecommunication Vendors in DMV and has a large present across the East Coast. They provide full turnkey solutions for both wireless and wireline sectors. Their wireless sectors are split up into a few groups, but ultimately support the major carriers (TMO, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Dish Network, and Crown Castle).

This RF technician will be supporting wireless small cell and ODAS deployments within the DMV for the major carriers including T-Mobile, Verizon, and Crown Castle. They will be working in teams of 2-4 and lead techs will have a helper or vice versa. They will be responsible for the mounting/testing of all RRH (Remote Radios Heads) and Antennas (No integration will be necessary at this time). They will be mounting the systems, perform alignment, and testing utilizing OTDR, Power Meters, and Spectrum Analyzers. This will include Shell work/upgrades, 5G antennas, pre-builds in warehouse, and possible trial periods. There will be a customer interaction portion to these deployments as well so need to be professional. Candidates should be used to support Rooftop builds as well.

A ton of this work will be supporting Verizon Wireless on a very aggressive 2025 build plan for 5G and SNAP upgrades (Roof top and Tower). Once they get their foot in the door they can go in many different directions within the company to include Tower, Embedded Integration, ODAS, IDAS, etc.

Majority of Small Cell work is supporting T-mobile, Crown, and VZ.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

This individual needs to be very reliable, open to working in various weather atmospheres, not scared of small heights, and ability to perform client interactions.

Experience with boom/lift truck is preferred.

DOT cleared.

OSHA 10.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
