Winter Nurse Extern Program

• At least 48 hours of paid clinical experiences during winter break
• 1:1 experienced RN preceptor
• Varied Shifts based on preceptor
• Open to senior nursing students graduating Spring 2027 
  • Must have completed medical surgical clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program
• Must provide an unofficial transcript and letter of recommendation from a nursing professor
• Limited opportunities on:
  • Med/Surg/Tele
  • ICU
  • Short Stay Unit

A full-service, acute-care hospital, with a 163 licensed bed capacity, admitting approximately 7,000 patients annually.
