Job Details: Job Location: Boys and Girls Club Winnemucca Club - Winnemucca, NV, Salary Range: $43000.00 - $46000.00Salary/year, Strong Leaders. Strong Programs. 50 Years of Great Futures.

As the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows celebrates its 50th Anniversary of serving our community, we are looking for an Area Programming Coordinator to help oversee daily programming site operations at our Boys & Girls Club locations serving Winnemucca, NV. This role is responsible for program quality, membership management, staff performance, and maintaining strong relationships with parents and school partners. The Coordinator also manages behavior concerns, required reporting, and serves as the primary point-of-contact for parent and member issues.

These are some of the responsibilites of an Area Coordinator:

Develop, implement and administer comprehensive programs within the 5 core areas with an emphasis and support of youth and teen development outcomes, services and activities for members and visitors.
Provide guidance and direction to site coordinators in the management of their designated areas. 
Manage all membership processes, ensuring smooth administration, strong relationships with parents/members, a secure environment, and accurate data and financial management. 
Develop and implement strategic initiatives in accordance with meeting and exceeding core program objectives, with guidance from the Operations Director.
Tracks financial resources, including grant reporting and the departmental budget.

This is what your schedule would look like:

This is a full-time, on-site job, Monday -Friday.
There will be occasional required hours on evenings and/or weekends for special events and family activities.

Qualifications: Required Education & Experience: 

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of three years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs to youth and teens or a combination of education and relevant experience. 

Skills & Abilities that make a successful Area Coordinator:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with a diverse population, and represent BGCTM professionally to the community.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Able to produce and provide data/reports in a timely manner.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment: 

Must be able to perform duties which require walking, talking, hearing, standing, sitting, and/or bending for long periods of time.  May occasionally be required to kneel, run and/or climb.
Must be able to use hands and arms to enter data into the computer, use the telephone and other office equipment.
Must be able to perform surface and deep cleaning appropriately using potentially hazardous cleaners including bleach, as needed.
Must be able to lift, move manipulate and or hold objects up to 45 pounds. Objects that exceed the 45-pound weight limit require additional assistance when moving, lifting or manipulating.
