Responsibilities:
- Deliver tires to wholesale accounts and customers throughout the local area
- Execute hot shot and time-sensitive deliveries with urgency and professionalism
- Load and unload tires safely, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery invoices, and paperwork for each run
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating condition
- Build and maintain positive relationships with wholesale customers and accounts
- Coordinate with the warehouse and sales team to prioritize and plan daily delivery routes
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery, hot shot, or route driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift and handle heavy tires and automotive parts (50+ lbs)
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible part-time schedule
- Strong sense of direction and familiarity with local and regional routes
- Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with wholesale customers
- Basic knowledge of tires or automotive parts is a plus
