Our instructors teach seniors exercise techniques that not only help them meet their fitness goals but do so in a safe, supportive, and fun environment!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Planning and leading energizing, safe and educational group exercise classes.
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels like they belong.
- Building effective, genuine relationships and creating community.

If you don't have a current group exercise certification, that's okay. We will support you and help you develop your teaching potential.

Today, the YMCA serves over 82,000 people each year through swim lessons, youth sports, afterschool programs and many other services. The association also offers financial assistance for programs to those in need.
The YMCA of Lincoln has four facility branches—Cooper, Copple Family, Fallbrook, and Northeast—as well as, two program branches—Youth Sports and Camp Kitaki—and an Administrative Office.
