Weekend Receptionist | Part Time

WEEKEND FRONT DESK LEAD NEEDED

OWN THE WEEKEND.
FlipStar Gymnastics Academy is hiring a part-time Weekend Front Desk Lead to serve as the primary point of contact for our facility on Saturdays and Sundays, with substitute coverage for our front desk team during the week.
This role is built for someone with real customer service experience who is comfortable taking ownership, making sound decisions, and keeping a busy facility running smoothly.

We will train you on our systems and procedures.
What we can't teach is the judgment, professionalism, and composure this role requires, so that's what we're looking for.

THE ROLE

• Serve as the on-site point person for the facility when leadership is off-site
• Open and/or close the facility following established procedures
• Greet and check in athletes, families, and party guests
• Handle parent questions, concerns, and schedule issues with professionalism and follow-through
• Coordinate with coaches and party staff to keep classes and events on schedule
• Respond to injuries, incidents, and emergencies according to facility protocols, and document them accurately
• Assist families with registration, enrollment, and account updates
• Process payments and maintain accurate front desk records
• Communicate weekend issues and updates to the leadership team
• Keep the lobby and front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least two [2] years of customer service experience (retail, hospitality, healthcare, recreation, or similar)
• Strong computer skills and comfort learning new software quickly
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions without direct supervision
• Clear, professional communication with parents, staff, and children
• Consistent reliability and punctuality
• Gymnastics or youth sports experience is a plus, but not required

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must pass a background check and complete U.S. Center for SafeSport training
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire

SCHEDULE

• Fridays (5pm - 9:30pm)
• Saturdays (12pm - 4:30pm)
• Sundays (10:30am - 2:30pm)
• Substitute coverage for weekday front desk shifts as needed
• Permanent part-time position

Weekend availability is required. Flexible weekday availability is strongly preferred.

Listed hours are minimum hours needed by the company, additional scheduled hours possible if desired.

COMPENSATION
