Full job description

Visiting Angels is hiring reliable, experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) licensed in the state of Maryland to provide quality in-home care for a Weekend Live-In caregiver position.
 
Employment Type: Weekend / Live-in
Schedule: Friday - Monday (Ongoing); Shift starts Fridays at 8:00 am & Shift ends Mondays at 8:00 am
Location: Bowie, MD
 
We offer weekday, evening, and weekend shifts to fit your schedule. Candidates must have dependable transportation and a genuine passion for helping others maintain comfort and dignity in their own homes.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping and home management duties.
• Plan and prepare meals according to clients’ needs and preferences.
• Follow the nursing plan of care and maintain accurate care records.
• Encourage independence, mental alertness, and emotional well-being through companionship and support.
• Attend required in-service training and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Current Maryland CNA license (required)
• Current CPR Certification
• Negative PPD test or Chest X-ray
• Minimum 2 years of experience in home health care, home care, assisted living, or a healthcare facility
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
