Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Concierge to support our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, helping create a welcoming, safe, and well-coordinated environment. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may vary based on staffing needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Shifts Needed:
Weekends: 9am-5:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet residents, visitors, and staff in a warm, professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls; manage inquiries efficiently
- Monitor building entry/exit
- Assist with resident requests
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
- Communicate effectively with care staff regarding resident needs or concerns
- Maintain front desk organization and ensure a clean, presentable lobby area
- Respond calmly and appropriately in urgent or emergency situations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with seniors, including individuals with memory impairment
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a dynamic environment
- Basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems, phone systems)
- Reliable and flexible availability
