Job Description
Overview:
Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client. This role is ideal for someone who is attentive, patient, and committed to improving quality of life through hands-on care and companionship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming
- Provide toileting and incontinence care
- Offer stand-by assist with mobility and fall prevention
- Prepare breakfast and lunch
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship (conversation, TV, engagement)
- Supervise during meals as needed
- Support daily routines and provide gentle reminders
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving or personal care experience preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
