Webinar & Podcast Manager

About the Role

Onyx Security is hiring a Webinar & Podcast Manager to build two programs from the ground up and own them end to end.

This is a hands-on role with a producer's mindset. You'll source topics and speakers, run the production calendar, host the tech, drive registration and attendance, and turn every recording into a library of downstream content. You're equally comfortable wrangling a nervous CISO guest ten minutes before we go live and pulling the attendance-to-pipeline report afterward.

What You'll Own

Webinar program (build and run):

• Design the program from scratch: cadence, formats (live, on-demand, panel), and how it maps to funnel stages, personas, and our product roadmap.
• Own the webinar calendar and topic pipeline, sourced from sales conversations, customer questions, research, and industry news.
• Recruit and prep speakers — internal experts, customers, analysts, and partners. Run dry runs and keep presenters on time and on message.
• Own the tech stack end to end: webinar platform, registration pages, reminder sequences, and MAP integration.
• Run live production (ops, moderation, Q&A, polls, and troubleshooting mid-stream), and partner with campaigns and digital on promotion, on-demand distribution, lead routing, and post-event nurture.

 Podcast (build and run):

• Define the show with executive stakeholders: concept, format, name, audience, episode structure, and cadence.
• Build and manage the guest pipeline — outreach, scheduling, briefing, and prep docs.
• Produce every episode: recording, editing (in-house or with a contractor), show notes, transcripts, and artwork coordination.
• Manage hosting and distribution across external platforms and the website, and grow the audience with campaigns and digital through social, email, guest amplification, and cross-promotion.
• Report on downloads, completion rates, and audience growth over time.

Content multiplication:

• Work with the content team to repurpose webinars and episodes into clips, quote cards, blog recaps, social posts, and email content — and build a repeatable process for doing it.

Co-marketing & partnerships:

• Run joint webinars with partners, analysts, and industry publications.
• Manage co-marketing logistics, lead-sharing agreements, and promotional commitments.

Measurement:

• Own the numbers for both programs: registration, attendance rate, engagement, and sourced and influenced pipeline.
• Report on which topics, formats, and speakers perform best, and align results to core KPIs.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years running webinars, virtual events, podcasts, or video programs in B2B, including marketing within cybersecurity or to cybersecurity audiences.
• Proven experience building a program from zero, not just maintaining an existing one.
• Hands-on with webinar platforms (Zoom Webinars, Riverside, ON24, Goldcast, or similar) and marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).
• Strong project management across calendars, deadlines, and a lot of moving parts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable on camera and on mic, and calm under live-production pressure.

Nice to Have:

• Audio/video editing experience (Descript, Riverside, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
• Hosting or moderating experience.
• An existing network of security practitioners, researchers, or analysts.
• Experience with paid promotion of events and shows.
