Delaware North Sportservice is searching for part-time Warehouse Porter to join our team at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. As a Warehouse Porter, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality control.

Unit Description

Delaware North operates concessions, premium dining, and retail at Nationwide Arena since dating back to the year 2000. The 18,500-seat venue is home to the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, and hosts concerts and events. We manage concession outlets, including diner-themed stands that offer traditional arena fares such as hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, and a variety of beers featuring local Ohio breweries.

Responsibilities

• Perform transfers of products and merchandise to and from the warehouse
• Receive products and merchandise, check for quality and damages, and properly store items
• Manage operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Complete physical inventory as needed
• Process requests for supplies, prepare merchandise for delivery, and prepare packages for shipping

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred
• Basic math and counting skills required
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move up to 165 pounds and pull heavy carts of stock throughout facility
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting during entire length of shift
• Warehouse environment, noise level may be moderate-to-high
• Exposure to variable temperatures depending on the season
