Warehouse Stocker and Driver

Job Details: Job Location: Copans Industrial Warehouse - Pompano Beach, FL, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Broward Children’s Center is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Stocker / Driver to support warehouse operations and transport supplies between our facilities. This position helps ensure that nurses, staff, and clients have timely access to the products and supplies they need.

Responsibilities include receiving, picking, scanning, stocking, and delivering inventory; maintaining accurate inventory records; and keeping storage areas and delivery vehicles clean and organized. A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pick, scan, prepare, and deliver supplies and products between Broward Children’s Center facilities.

Receive and stock inventory, including unpacking cases and organizing products on shelves.

Use handheld scanners and inventory software to record inventory movements accurately.

Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies, damaged products, and expired goods.

Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock to help reduce waste and maintain usable supplies.

Safely operate delivery vehicles, manual pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

Move and position pallets and consolidate products from partial pallets as needed.

Load and unload supplies safely and secure items for transport.

Maintain clean, organized storage areas by breaking down cardboard boxes, removing debris, and sweeping floors.

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.

Follow established warehouse procedures and safe driving practices.

Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.

Computer proficiency and familiarity with handheld inventory scanners and inventory management software.

Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and inventory practices.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Good time management, communication, and organizational skills.

Dependability and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Availability to work the schedule required to support warehouse operations and facility deliveries.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 70 pounds throughout the workday.

Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive stocking and material-handling tasks.

Push and pull manual pallet jacks and hand trucks.

Load and unload delivery vehicles and move supplies within warehouse and facility settings.

Drive between Broward Children’s Center facilities.
