Warehouse Operations Associate

Description

Essintial Enterprise Solutions is seeking a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Operations Associate to support the launch and ongoing operations of our warehouse. This position will play a key role in setting up, organizing, cleaning, assembling furniture and equipment, and establishing efficient warehouse processes to ensure the facility is safe, orderly, and operationally ready.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable working independently in a developing warehouse environment. This individual will help establish inventory organization, receiving and shipping processes, storage standards, housekeeping expectations, furniture and workspace assembly, and day-to-day warehouse procedures.

Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are required.

Warehouse Setup & Organization

• Assist with the initial setup and organization of the warehouse facility.
• Clean, organize, label, and prepare warehouse areas for operational use.
• Label shelves, bins, storage areas, and inventory locations as needed.
• Assemble and arrange warehouse furniture, shelving, workstations, desks, tables, and other fixtures.
• Assist with moving and positioning furniture, equipment, and materials throughout the facility.

Shipping & Receiving

• Prepare equipment, parts, tools, and materials for shipment to customers, technicians, or project locations.
• Pack items appropriately to prevent damage during transportation.
• Receive deliveries and verify quantities and condition against applicable documentation.
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding incoming and outgoing materials.

Warehouse Cleanliness & Safety

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Regularly sweep, clean, and remove debris, trash, packaging materials, and other warehouse waste.
• Keep aisles, exits, work areas, and storage locations clear and accessible.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Properly handle and store equipment, tools, and materials.
• Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions promptly.

Bilingual Communication

• Communicate effectively with employees, vendors, delivery personnel, and other business partners in both English and Spanish.
• Translate basic warehouse instructions, procedures, and communications when needed.
• Assist with facilitating clear communication between English- and Spanish-speaking employees.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when communicating on behalf of the company.

Furniture & Equipment Assembly

• Assemble office furniture, shelving, storage systems, workstations, and other warehouse-related fixtures.
• Read and follow basic assembly instructions and diagrams.
• Safely use hand tools and basic power tools as required.
• Ensure assembled furniture and equipment is properly secured and positioned.
• Assist with disassembly, relocation, and reassembly of furniture and equipment as operational needs change.

Requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience assembling furniture, shelving, workstations, or similar equipment preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize equipment, furniture, and materials.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory or warehouse management systems.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to adapt to a newly developing warehouse environment and help establish processes from the ground up.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb, and lift.
• Ability to lift and move materials, furniture, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely use ladders, carts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and power tools as required.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment for extended periods.
