Warehouse Manager - Power Systems

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Manages the overall activities concerned with shipping, receiving, storing, inventor control, and supervises the PSD Warehouse Staff personnel, to achieve the goals and objectives of the PSD Sales and Rental Business Groups.

Plans layout and product organization of warehouse, and other storage areas, while considering for size, weight, and related factors of items being received and stored.

Acts as the liaison between the customers and other PSD Departments, to see that the customer’s needs are taken care of to their complete satisfaction.

Oversees that all new in-coming EP, Marine and Industrial stock inventory that is to be stored outside, is wrapped in plastic in accordance with RPC Company policy, and maintains the shrink wrapping system here at WCC.

Properly stores all incoming inventory and materials and accounts for their location and proper labeling, and enters this information into DBS, and/or in to any other equipment record storage files necessary to accommodate both Sales and Management.

Performs daily, weekly and monthly inventory equipment inspections to see the inventory records match to what is physically on hand; and assists with the annual Company inventory audit and equipment count.

Makes sure that all PSD Warehouse personnel have current and working fuel cards, and sees that they have the necessary security access to both the PSD Warehouse and related PSD service buildings.

Coordinates all outbound equipment shipments to customers, vendors, or to specific job sites, in conjunction with the PSD Engineering Department, PSD New Sales, and the PSD Industrial Rental Sales Departments requests.

Makes sure that all outbound equipment shipments have the required shipping documents.

Works closely with the PSD Industrial Rental Business Group and the PSD Rental Coordinators to see that all customers related out bound equipment shipments are processed on time.

Schedules the work load and shift hours for the PSD warehouse personnel, and manages their training, supervision and reviews their job performances on a quarterly basis.

Monitors and regulates the “after hours” call list for the PSD warehouse personnel, and assures that we have adequate personnel coverage here at WCC during normal business working hours.

Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Monitors the required maintenance and service necessary for the forklifts and any other related company equipment assigned to the PSD Warehouse.

Orders and maintains all necessary PSD warehouse supplies.

Qualifications

2 - 3 years of experience in warehouse and/or project management

Must be able to operate various fork-lift models in a safe and reliable manner

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of basic computer skills preferred.

Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
