Overview
Assist employees and contractors in finding parts. Issuing parts, receiving, cycle counting, and tracking warehouse inventory. M-F days schedule This is an entry level position.
Responsibilities
- Staff the warehouse counter
- Accept deliveries, check-in products/place into proper stocking locations
- Pick parts
- Issue parts to appropriate departments
- Perform cycle-count
- Assist employees and contractors as "customers"
- Investigate descrepancies
- Operate crane and forklift
- Vacation coverage for coworkers (may include swint shift when necessary)
- Other tasks assigned by manager/supervisor
Qualifications
Required
- A strong focus on safety
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mulittasking skills
- Self-starter
- Must be physically able to lift heavy parts
Preferred
- Knowledge of CMMS Inventory Systems, Excel and Outlook software
- Crane and/or forklift certified
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or welding replacement parts
