Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Detroit, MI 48224Job Shift: AnyJob Category: OtherThe Riverview Health and Rehab Center - North Campus is seeking a talented candidate to join the Nursing team as a Full-Time Ward Clerk. As a member of the unit team, the Ward Clerk provides clerical services, medical records, resident scheduling, and other services required by team members, vendors, external contacts, residents and families.
In part, the responsibilities include:
Being the face of the Nursing Unit to Residents, Families, Visitors, and Vendors in-person, and over the phone.
Scheduling Physician and Specialist appointments for residents;
Charting Vital signs;
Completing Tray requests;
Maintaining nursing equipment, nursing and office supplies, and stocking the Nursing station;
Completing medical records requests, and follow proper records protocols for storage;
Working with equipment rental vendors and maintaining proper tracking as requested;
Assisting the Nursing team with resident requests and other projects as assigned
QualificationsThe ideal candidate for this vital position would be:
Highly Preferred: A currently Certified Nursing Assistant and would plan to continue to maintain their certification;
Able to multi-task, set priorities, and manager multiple projects;
Organized and efficient to be able to accomplish tasks within required time lines;
Flexible enough to shift priorities as needed and requested, without letting other responsibilities fall behind;
Customer-Service focused and able to deliver highest level of care and quality and consistency;
Able to learn new skills quickly and correctly to adapt;
Able to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekend rotations.
