VP, Strategic Partnerships

Supermetrics helps marketers go AI-first, from insight to action. For fifteen years we showed up before the need was obvious: first to bring marketing data into Excel, first to build the Google Sheets and Looker Studio add-ons, first to connect marketing data to BigQuery. Data access is no longer the hard problem. Making AI work reliably for marketing is, and that is the opportunity we are going after next. And we have a great start. Every serious MarTech-, AdTech-, and Data- platform is now competing to build customer value in the agentic era of AI. While model capability is improving quickly, an AI agent is only as good as the cross-channel context it can reason over. Supermetrics provides that context: the governed, normalized marketing data and semantic layer that platforms can trust and build their own products on top of. Sixteen thousand paying customers, powering over 200,000 businesses in more than 120 countries, all flowing through one foundation. That is not something a platform can assemble on its own, and it is why the best of them want to build with us rather than around us.

We already partner with many of the platforms that matter here. Some of those relationships run deep. Others are lighter than the opportunity deserves. Our Global Technology Partnerships team runs this work today and runs it well, but the team is not on the ground in the US, and a meaningful share of these platforms are headquartered in the Bay Area. Strategic conversations at this altitude happen in person, over time, with someone the partner's leadership knows and trusts. That is what this role is: senior presence on the ground, deepening the partnerships we already have and making sure we are creating real value together for the customers we share.

What you'll own...

• The strategic depth of a portfolio of platform partners. You are accountable for how much joint value each relationship creates. We’ll know we’re on the right track when partners view Supermetrics as a trusted collaborator and work with us to create value for the customers we both serve.
• Senior relationships across each partner organization. Product, platform, data, go-to-market, executive, corporate development. Whoever matters to the relationship, at whatever altitude the moment calls for. You are the person their leadership calls when their data or AI strategy needs a partner in the room.
• Joint value creation. Working with our Global Technology Partnerships team, product, and engineering, you define what we build together by leveraging what Supermetrics provides. 
• The narrative. You translate our capability into business value for a partner's product roadmap and AI strategy, in language their executives and their board will repeat back to you.
• Strategic optionality. Deep relationships at this altitude create options for both sides. You will be close to those conversations, and your judgment on where they should lead will carry weight with our CEO and board.
• Our position in this market. You are our senior face to the platform ecosystem in the US, and how that ecosystem sees Supermetrics is substantially yours to shape.

What you'll bring...

• 15+ years of experience in strategic business development, platform and ISV partnerships, or corporate development, along with lasting relationships that deepened over the years rather than fading after a transaction.
• Deep fluency in the MarTech, AdTech, and data ecosystem, plus the senior network to match. Product, platform, and corporate development people, not marketing buyers.
• Credibility with product and technical organizations. You can discuss APIs, data and context layers, and what it takes to build on someone else's platform well enough that a VP of Product or a Chief Data Officer treats you as a peer.
• Real fluency in the agentic AI landscape. You can explain why governed data and marketing context determine whether an AI agent is actually useful, without hand-waving.
• Executive presence that holds up. You can bring a technical strategy into a C-suite discussion and come away with clear agreement instead of a courteous nod.
• The ability to work as one team across time zones. You will be a senior leader, working directly with colleagues in Helsinki and across our global team, and you may often be the only person in the room. That takes generosity with information and no interest in building a silo.
• Judgment about which partnerships matter. At this level, recognizing the relationship that will not compound is as valuable as deepening the one that will.

The base salary range for this role is between $240K - 300K  annually + bonus + equity. This represents the good-faith estimate of the base salary range the company reasonably expects to pay for this position upon hire. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including the applicant's experience, specialized training, and geographic location. These figures reflect the compensation offered for remote U.S.based candidates.
