About the Role:Reclaim is looking for a dedicated and financially savvy Board Treasurer to join our leadership team in Snoqualmie, WA. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping guide the financial health and strategic direction of our organization. Responsibilities:
• In cooperation with the Executive Director, provide the board with insight and knowledge of financial plans, controls, and results.
• In cooperation with the Executive Director, help the board understand the annual budget before it is approved.
• Examine monthly financial reports to interpret trends and projections, and inquire about operating policies, plans, and decisions.
• Assist the Executive Director in interpreting monthly financial reports for the full board.
• Chair the Finance Committee.
• Ensure the board arranges for an annual audit of the organization's financial records.
• Serve on the Executive Committee.
What We're Looking For:
• Experience in accounting, finance, or nonprofit financial management (professional or volunteer).
• Comfort reading and explaining financial statements to a non-financial audience.
• A collaborative style and willingness to work closely with staff and fellow board members.
• A genuine interest in Reclaim's mission and the Snoqualmie Valley community.
• Prior nonprofit board or committee experience is a plus but not required.
About Us:Reclaim is a community resource located in downtown Snoqualmie that provides pathways to stability, opportunity, and connection for people experiencing homelessness or housing instability in the Snoqualmie Valley. What began in 2012 as a small, volunteer-led emergency shelter has grown into a year-round organization offering shelter, prevention support, housing navigation, benefits advocacy and, through The Front Door community service center, a single, dignified point of access to food, clothing, hygiene supplies, case management, and more.
