Woodlands Senior Living has volunteer opportunities for those seeking to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors in their area.

Woodlands Memory Care of Lewiston is a specialized memory care community. We are part of Woodlands Senior Living, a Maine-based, family-owned company. Our mission is to make each day the best day possible for every resident we serve.

Reasons to be a Senior Living Volunteer:

· Make a meaningful difference by building supportive friendships with residents

· Give back to the community by providing an invaluable service

· Gain valuable experience to strengthen skills for the workplace

What Senior Living Volunteers do:

· Visit and talk with residents

· Assist during activities such as arts & crafts and games

· Deliver mail and write letters for residents

· Accompany residents on outings or walks around the premises

· Deliver meals or snacks

· Greet community visitors

Requirements

Volunteer applicants will be screened via background & reference checks and will be required to comply with immunization requirements. Volunteers will participate in an orientation program and in-service training.
