Visual Designer (6-Month FTC)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Visual Designer (6-Month FTC) based in the United States.

This is a six-month fixed-term opportunity for a creative visual designer working across brand, marketing, and digital experiences.
You’ll create polished, engaging visuals across web, social, print, email, presentations, and other communication channels.
The role combines strong visual craft with user-centered design principles and close attention to brand consistency.
You’ll collaborate with creative leads, marketing teams, UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to bring ideas from concept through execution.
Your work will contribute to campaigns and experiences designed to make complex healthcare topics more accessible and engaging.
You’ll have the opportunity to help evolve visual systems while working across diverse platforms, technologies, and audiences.
This role is well suited to a versatile designer who brings strong creative judgment, technical expertise, and a highly collaborative approach.

Accountabilities

• Create visual designs for advertising production, web experiences, social media assets, and other digital channels while maintaining consistency with established visual systems.

• Support Brand-to-Demand campaigns for B2B products, including nurture and engagement-focused digital campaigns.

• Partner with senior designers to execute established art direction and translate concepts into polished visual assets.

• Develop presentation designs for events, leadership talks, and other high-visibility communications.

• Collaborate with brand and creative teams on marketing collateral supporting consumer, corporate, and B2B initiatives.

• Apply user-centered design principles to create clear, engaging, accessible, and visually compelling experiences.

• Contribute to the refinement and evolution of visual design language and brand systems.

• Collaborate effectively with creative leads, stakeholders, UX designers, product managers, marketing teams, and other cross-functional partners.

• Present design concepts and explain creative decisions clearly to stakeholders and creative leadership.

• Manage multiple projects and deliverables across different platforms, formats, and timelines.

• Stay informed about evolving design technologies, visual trends, AI-generated creative tools, and emerging approaches to digital design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience in visual design for digital products.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual execution, including illustration, instructional design, and assets for consumer-facing web and mobile experiences.

• Professional experience designing across multiple platforms, including print production and email marketing.

• Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• Emerging experience with, or strong interest in, AI-generative design tools and motion graphics or animation.

• Strong understanding of both traditional and digital design processes and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and design trends.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and design rationale using a user-centered approach.

• Ability to collaborate across marketing, product, engineering, and creative disciplines while managing complex workloads and ambiguity.

• CSS/HTML knowledge and advanced prototyping skills are a plus.

• Experience with motion design tools such as After Effects or Cinema 4D is preferred.

• Experience designing for physical touchpoints, including packaging and large-scale brand marketing materials, is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills, creative judgment, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

• Base salary: $90,500–$136,000 USD, depending on location, skills, experience, education, training, and other relevant factors.
