The role

Video is at the heart of how we bring the surprise and delight of that experience to life. We're looking for a Video Editor who can move fast, think creatively, and turn everyday moments into the kind of content people can't scroll past, whether that's a doorstep prize reveal, a member giveaway hype video, or multiple creative variations built from a single shoot.

In this role you'll produce high-output short-form video across social, paid media, and our in-app experiences. You'll combine strong editing fundamentals with a modern creative toolkit, including social-first editing and AI-assisted creative tools, to help us produce more high-quality creative faster. You'll work closely with our marketing and brand teams to optimize every piece of content for performance while staying true to PCH's brand voice.

The Ideal Candidate

You thrive in a fast-paced, high-iteration creative environment where testing more ideas is just part of the job. Give you a single shoot or source asset and you're already thinking about the five other pieces of content hiding inside it. You love experimenting with format, pacing, and storytelling to find what actually performs, and you're genuinely excited about AI as a creative accelerator, not something to be wary of. You get what drives engagement, whether that's community, identity, surprise, or the thrill of a win, and you bring that instinct into everything you edit.

You're comfortable owning your work independently, but you do your best thinking in collaboration, bouncing ideas around and building on what other people bring to the table. You notice the details that most people miss: the first few seconds of an ad, frame timing, captions, typography, audio, where the text sits on screen. And you thrive when working across teams, turning open brainstorms and creative back and forth into something real.

What you'll do

• Edit and produce high volumes of short-form video content on fast turnaround timelines for marketing campaigns, social media, paid ads, and product promotions

• Turn shoots and source assets into multiple distinct creative variations, testing different hooks, CTAs, pacing, lengths, and formats to see what performs

• Repurpose and remix our extensive library of existing content (winning moments, live streams, video shoots, social content, and more) into fresh videos that feel original

• Use AI-assisted creative tools and emerging video technology to accelerate production, generate creative variations, and enhance footage

• Bring static assets to life with motion graphics, text animations, transitions, compositing, and other visual treatments

• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and growth teams to align every edit with campaign goals and interpret creative feedback into new iterations

• Optimize content for performance across multiple channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, and more), adapting executions for different placements and audiences

• Stay on top of video trends, digital entertainment formats, creative best practices, and emerging AI tools, and contribute to creative ideation by pitching new concepts and formats

• Maintain organized video asset libraries, source footage, templates, and project files that allow other editors and partners to easily pick up and repurpose work

• Share clear, proactive feedback with videographers on framing and coverage needs so footage supports efficient editing. You'll likely be on-site for most shoots

• Ensure brand consistency across all motion content, from giveaway reveal moments to product and merch marketing

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics, preferably in performance marketing, paid social, sweepstakes/giveaway commerce, DTC/ecommerce, lifestyle brands, or membership-driven media

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects

• Experience using or actively experimenting with AI-assisted creative and video tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, Topaz, or similar emerging platforms

• Experience with CapCut or similar social-first editing tools and an understanding of fast, platform-native short-form workflows

• Strong capabilities in light 2D animation, dynamic typography, custom motion graphics, compositing, and visual effects

• Experience producing for mobile and digital platforms, especially performance-oriented paid social

• Ability to take a single piece of source footage and independently develop multiple meaningful variations for testing

• Strong understanding of short-form storytelling, hooks, retention, pacing, pattern interrupts, CTAs, and mobile-first creative

• Proven ability to execute edits end-to-end, with the technical proficiency to conceptualize and build complex sequences independently

• Strong understanding of organized file structures, versioning, and clean team handoff practices

• Familiarity with platform-specific formats, specifications, safe zones, captioning, and best practices

• Strong visual storytelling instincts, with a keen eye for pacing, rhythm, and composition

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with sound editing, royalty-free music sourcing, audio cleanup, and basic color grading

• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality short-form, paid social, performance creative, and digital video work

Bonus points

• Understanding of sweepstakes club, membership, or rewards-based commerce and what drives entrant/shopper psychology

• Videography experience or comfort shooting your own footage when needed

• Experience with motion capture, compositing, or more advanced visual effects

• This is a remote role open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. Occasional travel for shoots, brand events, or team collaboration may be required
