Vendor Solutions Manager - Columbus, OH

Choice Property Resourcesis a well-established, business-to-business professional services firm in growth mode. The Vendor Solutions Manager position is responsible for evaluating business services and operational solutions on behalf of our multifamily property clients. This role identifies opportunities to improve service quality, reduce costs, streamline operations, and implement strategic solutions that deliver measurable value.

This position works directly with service providers, clients, and internal teams to analyze current services, develop recommendations, manage competitive sourcing initiatives, and oversee implementation projects from concept through completion. This position is a great fit for those with analytical skills, business acumen, project management capabilities, and a strong "figure it out" factor.

This person will work from a home office in the Columbus, Ohio metro area and have the willingness to travel up to 5% of the time for staff and vendor meetings.

Note: This is a fully - remote role and is open to individuals who reside in the Central Ohio area only, within 75 miles of Columbus. To work from home, you do need a dedicated workspace that is free from distractions and background noise.

What You Will Do

•  You review and analyze existing services, vendor relationships, and operational processes for client properties
• You review surveys completed by our clients to understand their needs
•  You evaluate current services, service levels, costs, and operational effectiveness
•  You identify opportunities to improve service quality, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce expenses
•  You prepare detailed business cases, recommendation summaries, cost analyses, and financial projections for client presentations
•  You research, solicit, and evaluate competitive proposals and alternative solutions from vendors and service providers
• You present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
• You coordinate and manage implementation projects from planning through execution
• You serve as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout project lifecycles
• You track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and implementation progress
• You identify and resolve implementation challenges while maintaining project momentum
• You monitor solution performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• You manage a high volume of projects and tasks for a growing B2B business

What You Need to Have

• You have a strong figure it out factor: You quickly take in information and new concepts, and then effectively apply them in real life, successfully implementing a solution
• You have strong business acumen: You understand the basics of business, combined with analytical skills, the ability to draw insights, evaluate alternatives, develop recommendations, and implement effective business solutions
•  You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• You have experience effectively managing and prioritizing a large volume of tasks and projects while staying organized
• You have experience evaluating business services, operational processes, or vendor solutions
• You have experience managing projects from planning through implementation
• You work independently, implement a plan and meet deadlines
• You have a high level of self-discipline, organization and prioritization skills and self-motivation
• You have the ability to effectively work on multiple projects and tasks while knowing how to prioritize
• You have a desire to continue growing yourself professionally and personally
• You are comfortable presenting recommendations and facilitating discussions with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• You communicate effectively with others and understand what matters to different audiences
• You have intermediate to advanced skills with Excel
• You have at least two years of experience in project management, operations, business analysis, vendor management, consulting, telecommunications, technology services, or a related field
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
• Ability to work from home office
• Four-year degree from accredited university or college preferred
• Experience utilizing Salesforce and Microsoft Office Professional is a plus
• Experience with telecommunications, multifamily housing, technology services, managed services, utilities, construction, bulk services, vendor management, and/or operational improvement initiatives is a plus
• Project management experience is strongly preferred
