Vault/Cage Cashier FT

Job Details: Job Location: Lawton 8 - Lawton, OK, Position Type: Full-Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Any, Essential Functions

Participate in the function of controlling and accounting for casino cash receipts and the cash check-out process of the other department cashiers.
Balance all money transactions and prepare daily cash deposit.
Participate in the maintenance of supporting cash receipts documentation and accumulation of information for daily review by the Revenue Audit department.

Work and communicate effectively with peers, team members, regulatory agencies and guests, ensuring an excellent guest experience and team member relations.
Comply with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager
Regular attendance is required.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/casino industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of Apache Casino Hotel - days, evenings, graveyards, holidays and/or weekends.  We are busiest during weekends and holidays, events, and peak seasons as they occur. There is a reasonable expectation you will be scheduled on duty and/or “on-call” during any of these times.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential job functions.

While performing job duties the team member occasionally sits, and uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaches with hands, and arms, and talks and hears. The team member stands for prolonged periods in confined spaces, and walks, climbs or balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.  The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and push, pull or drag up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing job duties the team member is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands. The team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate, and there are fluctuations in lighting due to flashing lights from slot machines and band lighting.

At a minimum, the selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug-screening test and obtain a gaming license.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Customer service and cash handling experience preferred, with mathematical skills sufficient to perform job functions.
Knowledge, skill, and ability to work with personal computers, Microsoft Office products, player tracking card systems, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from Fort Sill Apache Gaming Commission.
