Valet Parking Supervisor – San Francisco, CA
Location: Multiple hospitality properties in San Francisco
Base Pay: $21.50 per hour, plus tips (Depending on property)
Job Type: Full-time and part-time
Schedule: Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts
Status: Non-Exempt
The posted pay range reflects the base hourly wage Parking Management Company reasonably expects to pay for this position upon hire. The actual starting rate will be within this range and may vary based on property assignment, experience, qualifications, and schedule.
If this position is legally eligible to receive gratuities, tips are additional to the stated base wage. Tips vary based on hours worked, property assignment, guest volume, services performed, and customer interactions and are not guaranteed. Supervisors and managers may not participate in employee tip pools when prohibited by applicable law.

Parking Management Company (PMC) is hiring a dependable, service-focused Valet Parking Supervisor to help lead daily valet operations at luxury hotels throughout the city.
In this position, you will coordinate vehicle flow, guide valet attendants, assist guests, and support the Account Manager in maintaining a safe, organized, and professional operation. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong leadership and customer-service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
What You’ll Do
- Help supervise daily valet operations and team performance.
- Coordinate vehicle flow, traffic control, key organization, and vehicle-staging areas.
- Assign responsibilities and provide clear direction to valet attendants.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate operational updates.
- Monitor attendance, breaks, schedules, uniforms, and grooming standards.
- Coach team members and promote teamwork, accountability, safety, and professional service.
- Greet guests and resolve questions, concerns, or service issues.
- Monitor safe driving, vehicle handling, and key-control procedures.
- Complete incident reports and document vehicle-related concerns promptly.
- Set up valet equipment and keep supplies stocked and organized.
- Assist with reviewing time punches, gratuity records, payroll information, and vehicle counts.
- Communicate staffing, safety, guest-service, and operational concerns to management.
- Perform valet duties and operate guest vehicles when business needs require.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license.
- Motor vehicle record that satisfies PMC’s job-related driving standards.
- Ability to safely operate automatic-transmission vehicles.
- Ability to operate manual-transmission vehicles when required by the assigned property.
- At least one year of supervisory, hospitality, valet parking, or customer-service experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional appearance and dependable attendance.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a busy environment.
- Ability to coach employees and reinforce performance and safety expectations.
- Availability to work assigned days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Previous leadership experience in valet parking, hotels, restaurants, parking operations, or customer service is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand, walk, run, and remain active for extended periods.
- Enter and exit vehicles frequently.
- Lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Work safely around moving vehicles, active traffic, and parking equipment.
- Use computers, mobile devices, and two-way radios for operational communication and reporting.

Hours, Meal and Rest Periods, and Overtime
This is a non-exempt position. Employees must accurately record all time worked and may not perform work before clocking in, after clocking out, or during an unpaid meal period.
Employees will receive meal periods, rest periods, overtime compensation, and any other required premiums in accordance with applicable California law. Overtime must be approved in advance when required by company policy; however, all hours worked will be paid whether or not advance approval was obtained.
Employees should promptly report any missed, late, shortened, interrupted, or otherwise noncompliant meal or rest period, as well as any concern regarding timekeeping or compensation.
