 Monday – Friday | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (20 Hours/Week)

Position Summary:
The Budd Group is seeking a reliable and hardworking Utility Technician to support operations at our Madison campus. This role involves performing day porter duties while also assisting our nighttime staff with various tasks to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) As an Event Set Up Technician, you are the engine that keeps this facility running smoothly. You will:

• Create Great Spaces: Lead the setup and breakdown for meetings and special events, including arranging tables, chairs, and equipment.

• Master the Inventory: Manage and maintain essential supplies for the facility to ensure the team has what they need.

• Keep Things Moving: Facilitate the internal transport of materials and provide hands-on support as a Utility Technician.

• Safety First: Conduct routine hazard checks and perform minor maintenance tasks like furniture adjustments or equipment troubleshooting.

• Team Support: Act as a Facilities Associate by assisting the janitorial team with operational tasks to ensure an exceptional environment for our clients.

What You Bring To The Team

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman services.

• Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Communication: Ability to work professionally with colleagues and follow instructions clearly.

• Physical Stamina: Comfort with lifting, bending, and moving objects throughout your shift.

• Requirement: Must be able to pass a background check.
