Job Description
Teachers Now is looking for Substitute Teachers and Teacher Aides to join our Kansas City team. We have openings for individuals interested in working in local schools on a daily or long-term basis.
Open Positions
- Substitute Teacher - $140–$160 per day
- Substitute Teachers help maintain classroom instruction and provide support to students when the regular teacher is unavailable. Long-term assignments are available for qualified candidates.
- Teacher Aide - $125–$140 per day
- Teacher Aides work alongside teachers to provide classroom and student support, assist with activities, and help students throughout the school day. Long-term opportunities are also available.
Long-Term Pay: Employees who meet the requirements for a qualifying long-term assignment can receive an additional $10 per day.
Who Can Apply?
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience with children or students is a plus
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be able to communicate professionally
- Must be able to follow school and classroom expectations
- Must be willing to work with students and school staff
Typical Hours
Monday–Friday
7:00 AM–4:00 PM
7:00 AM–12:00 PM
12:00 PM–4:00 PM
Schedules may differ depending on the school and assignment.
