Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a surgical team and provide safe, efficient perioperative care. The ideal candidate is confident in both scrub and circulating roles and experienced across multiple surgical specialties.
PAY & SCHEDULE
- Travel: $65/hour ($30/hour W-2 taxable + $35/hour non-taxable stipend)
- Local: $64/hour
- Days | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | 8 Hours/Day
- 40 hours weekly guarantee
Location: Glens Falls, NY
Start Date: August 27, 2026 | Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | 8 Hours/Day
Weekends: No Weekends
Position: Travel OR RN | 1 Opening
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative and surgical patient care.
- Perform scrub and circulating duties.
- Support vascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, robotic, urology, and ENT procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the OR team.
Requirements
- 2+ years current OR experience – Required
- Previous travel experience – Required
- Scrub & Circulate experience
- Experience with Vascular, Ortho, Trauma, General Surgery, Robotics, Urology & ENT
- EPIC experience – Required
- Active BLS & ACLS
- Current RN license/Nursys and certifications
- Skills Checklist completed within the last year
- 1 supervisory reference from the past 2 years
- Own vehicle – Firm requirement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
