Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support an operating room team in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple surgical specialties, excellent sterile technique, and the ability to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team.

 Shift: Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
 Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts/week
 Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
 Assignment: Travel Only
 Local Radius: 50 Miles

Pay

Traveler Rate: $50/hour

• $22/hour taxable W-2
• $28/hour non-taxable stipend

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure a safe surgical environment.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the surgical team.
• Perform surgical counts and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and surgical protocols.
• Work effectively across multiple surgical specialties.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CST experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong experience in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Experience with:
  • General Surgery
  • Neurosurgery
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Gynecology (GYN)
• Da Vinci robotic surgical experience required.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills.
