Ultrasound Experience & Engagement Leader

Job Description Summary

Join the Global Ultrasound business at GE HealthCare and help create high-value experiences for key opinion leaders (KOLs), research collaborators, strategic partners, and clinical users who visit the Waukesha office. This role owns the planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of collaborator and partner visits, including roadmap discussions, innovation reviews, product demonstrations, and internal scanning sessions with sonographers and clinicians.

The Ultrasound Experience & Engagement Leader serves as the central coordinator for these engagements. Working closely with business, product, engineering, clinical, and research stakeholders, this individual helps define visit objectives, develop meaningful agendas, coordinate execution, and ensure each engagement delivers clear outcomes, actionable next steps, and a professional visitor experience. In addition to leading visit activities, this role may support broader business, research, customer engagement, and other initiatives and projects that improve team effectiveness and stakeholder engagement

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of KOL, research collaborator, strategic partner, and clinical user visits to the Waukesha office.
• Partner with visit sponsors and internal stakeholders to define visit objectives, desired outcomes, key decisions, and success measures, then develop engagement strategies, agendas, participants, and activities aligned to those goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for visits, ensuring a professional and seamless experience for visitors and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal scanning activities and associated resources in support of collaborator, partner, and customer engagements.
• Facilitate visit preparation and follow-up activities, including debriefs, documentation of key decisions, action item tracking, and execution of next steps.
• Develop and maintain visit processes, templates, metrics, reporting, and best practices, using feedback and outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain visibility across planned engagements, communicate customer and partner insights, and support resource, facility, and budget planning activities.
• Build strong relationships across business, research, clinical, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to support engagement objectives and business priorities.
• Lead or support research, business, customer engagement, and other strategic initiatives, including project coordination, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and execution of key priorities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience; or high school diploma with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience planning and executing complex customer, collaborator, partner, research, clinical, or executive engagements involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Working knowledge of healthcare, diagnostic imaging, clinical research, clinical workflows, or medical technology.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site at the Waukesha office 4 to 5 days per week, with flexibility based on visit schedules.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in ultrasound, diagnostic imaging, clinical research, product development, healthcare innovation, or a related field.
• Clinical background or credential as a sonographer, radiologic technologist, nurse, or other healthcare professional.
• Experience supporting clinical scanning, technology evaluations, customer engagements, or product demonstration environments.
• Ability to anticipate stakeholder needs, manage ambiguity, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with senior leaders, external clinical experts, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and with diverse clinical, cultural, and professional audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams; experience with scheduling, event management, project management, or customer engagement tools preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%.

• Visits are purposeful, well planned, and aligned to clear business, research, partnership, or relationship objectives.
• KOLs, collaborators, partners, sonographers, clinicians, and other visitors experience the WTE office as professional, welcoming, and easy to engage with.
• Internal teams leave engagements with actionable insights, clear decisions, and defined next steps.
• Internal scanning activities are coordinated efficiently and supported by the appropriate stakeholders, facilities, and processes.
• Visit processes, tools, and metrics become more consistent, scalable, measurable, and continuously improved.
• Strategic initiatives and special projects are well organized, effectively executed, and deliver meaningful value to stakeholders.
