Position Summary
The Social Media Specialist will drive UFC GYM’s social media presence across brand and corporate club channels. This role combines social strategy, content creation, community management, and analytics. The ideal candidate is creative, trend-focused, highly organized, and comfortable creating content on-site in an active gym environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily publishing, scheduling, and community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Develop and maintain monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, club promotions, openings, events, and partnerships.
• Create, shoot, and edit engaging photo and short-form video content, including Reels, TikToks, Stories, and YouTube Shorts.
• Travel to UFC GYM locations to capture original content featuring training, coaches, members, classes, events, and club culture.
• Support corporate and franchise clubs with social media best practices, localized content, and platform guidance.
• Build and maintain social profiles for new club openings while ensuring brand consistency.
• Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, tags, and mentions while escalating customer service or reputation concerns as needed.
• Identify and leverage relevant social trends, audio, formats, and challenges while maintaining brand standards.
• Manage and organize digital content assets for social, email, web, and paid media.
• Continuously optimize organic social strategy through testing of content formats, posting times, creative styles, and platform mix.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on paid media, email/SMS, PR, partnerships, and brand campaigns.
• Track and report social performance, including reach, engagement, follower growth, video completion, saves, shares, traffic, and leads.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on social analytics and industry/competitor benchmarks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on social media management experience for a brand, multi-location business, agency, or creator account.
• Experience with Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, and TikTok Analytics.
• Strong short-form video editing skills using CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Experience creating static and motion graphics using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, platform culture, and algorithms.
• Excellent copywriting and brand-voice skills.
• Portfolio or active social accounts demonstrating content creation and short-form video skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must be located near multiple UFC GYM locations, have reliable transportation, and be willing to travel regularly for content capture, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or experience in fitness, MMA, boxing, jiu-jitsu, or sports.
• Experience with multi-location, franchise, or retail brands.
• Familiarity with social scheduling and management platforms such as Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite, or Meta Planner.
• Basic photography and lighting skills.
• Experience with UGC, influencer, athlete, or ambassador content.

Physical Requirements
This position requires regular travel between UFC GYM locations and the ability to work in active gym environments, including standing for extended periods, moving throughout club floors, and carrying production equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required for events, activations, and club openings.
