Position Summary:

OWT Global LLC is seeking a UAS Airspace Integration Specialist to support the operation and sustainment of UAS airspace management technology at Department of Defense (War) locations. The position will assist with system setup, customer training, demonstrations, exercises, and ongoing field support.

The ideal candidate will have experience or familiarity with UAS operations, FAA Part 107 requirements, airspace management, air traffic control, or military aviation. This is a remote position requiring approximately 40 - 50% travel within the United States, with occasional international travel possible.

Employment is contingent upon the applicant’s ability to meet applicable pre-employment, security-clearance, and customer-access requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, and maintain UAIS systems and supporting infrastructure at supported mission locations
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure continuous operational availability
• Support integration of UAIS platforms with external airspace services (e.g., flight authorization systems, Remote ID, weather, and airspace data feeds)
• Coordinate with government personnel, airspace managers, and UAS operators to ensure safe and compliant flight operations
• Provide technical reach-back support and interface with engineering teams for issue resolution, system updates, and capability enhancements
• Develop, maintain, and update system documentation, configuration baselines, and operational logs
• Deliver user training and assist in the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Support integration and coordination with air domain awareness and C-UAS systems, as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance
• Ability to obtain FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107)
• Experience with UAS and/or Counter-UAS systems
• Experience in flight test engineering, UAS testing, or aerospace system validation
• Experience developing operational procedures
• Experience integrating manned/unmanned aircraft operations
• Experience with technical documentation and test reporting

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with or understanding UAS operations.
• Air traffic control, airspace management, or aviation operations experience.
• Experience supporting DoD or other federal government organizations.
• Familiarity with integrating manned and unmanned aircraft operations.
• Experience developing or working with concepts of operations, standard operating procedures, or similar operational guidance.
• Experience presenting information, conducting demonstrations, or providing training.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications.
• Ability to follow user manuals and translate written instructions into practical system operation.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with customers and team members.

Work Environment

• Remote position with a home-based primary duty location.
• Requires 40-50% travel to supported DoD installations and other mission locations for site surveys, installation, integration, training, exercises, sustainment, and system support activities.
• Operational environment supporting live UAS and airspace management activities
• May require coordination with multiple stakeholders, including government personnel, contractors, and external partners
• Frequent travel is an essential function of the position and is expected to average 40-50%.
• May require flexible hours, including support during testing events or mission operations
