Traveling Autonomous Equipment Lead

Rinvio is hiring a Traveling Autonomous Equipment Lead for field deployments of advanced construction technology and robotic/autonomous equipment on active project sites.

Pay: $115,000-$125,000/year, based on experience

Location: Arlington, TX area; candidates should live within reasonable distance of a major airport

Schedule: Heavy weekly travel to project sites across the U.S.; schedule may vary by deployment needs

Type: Full-Time W-2

Responsibilities:

- Lead hands-on deployment and field support for autonomous construction equipment

- Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain heavy equipment, sensors, electronics, and field hardware

- Coordinate with operators, site contacts, field teams, and technical support groups

- Support installation, calibration, and adjustment of components, sensors, and equipment systems

- Identify issues, document field findings, communicate clearly, and support practical fixes

- Maintain a professional, safety-minded field presence while representing Rinvio on project sites

Requirements:

- Construction, heavy equipment, field service, machinery, robotics, or autonomous equipment background

- 5+ years of hands-on equipment operation, repair, maintenance, or technical field support preferred

- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools, equipment diagnostics, electronics, and jobsite troubleshooting

- Professional communication skills with field teams, operators, and technical support teams

- Willingness to travel weekly and adapt to changing jobsite conditions

- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs

- Experience with hydraulics, welding, fabrication, GPS/machine control, electrical, soldering, or construction tech is helpful
