Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and provide ongoing therapy for patients in the skilled nursing setting, addressing communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; document progress in the patient record.
- Perform bedside swallow evaluations, manage dysphagia, and screen for aspiration risk; coordinate with nursing staff and dietitians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support discharge planning and patient goals; communicate with families as appropriate.
- Monitor patient response to therapy, adjust goals and frequency as needed, and prepare progress notes and reports.

Requirements
- Active NH state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- 1+ year of experience in speech-language pathology is preferred, with exposure to acute care or skilled nursing settings recommended
- Ability to work a 35-hour week in a day shift (08:00–16:30) and adapt to facility guidelines
- Proficiency with documentation in an electronic medical record and clinical charting
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and travel to the assignment location
