Shift: 8-hour day, 5 days per week
Setting: Hospital-based travel assignment at a large teaching facility with two campus sites
This assignment has no guaranteed hours. Travel requires working 2 of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day). Weekends are on an as-needed basis. Proficiency in OB/GYN ultrasound with fetal anatomy under MFM guidance is required, along with EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.

Responsibilities
- Perform OB/GYN and maternal-fetal medicine ultrasound examinations, including detailed fetal anatomy scans and routine OB follow-ups
- Conduct GYN and early-dating OB scans; perform pelvic imaging, transvaginal scans, and related procedures as applicable
- Execute specialized studies (BPPs, umbilical artery and MCA Dopplers) and assess fetal well-being
- Manage scans for multiple patient types per day, with workflow adjusted for cases such as twin gestations
- Collaborate with obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine teams; document findings in the EMR (EPIC) and communicate results to care teams
- Maintain high standards of image quality, patient care, and safety, adhering to facility protocols

Requirements
- ARDMS credential with OB/GYN specialization
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience, with OB/GYN and fetal anatomy scanning
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR within the past 2 years
- BLS certification and Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
- Ability to work in a high-volume, teaching hospital environment and manage up to 8 patient encounters per day
- Access to reliable transportation; meet facility access and employment history documentation requirements
