- Travel assignment in a hospital telemetry unit; floating to supported departments; weekends required; locals within 50 miles are not accepted; pre-approved time off: 1 per contract

Responsibilities
- Monitor adult and geriatric patients on telemetry, including continuous telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Recognize and manage dysrhythmias; respond to rapid responses and emergent events per protocol
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and provide non-invasive airway support as needed
- Implement isolation precautions and PPE procedures; adhere to infection control standards
- Document care and patient status in the electronic medical record (Epic) and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (PT, Respiratory, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary)
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning input, and safe patient handoffs during shift transitions

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Jersey or a valid compact license in hand at time of submittal
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience; Telemetry/Medical-Surgical experience preferred
- Telemetry monitoring proficiency, dysrhythmia recognition/management
- Ability to float to related units and work weekends as required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (education specifics may be verified during onboarding)
