Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for telemetry and step-down unit patients, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor responses and safety, document findings.
- Monitor telemetry data, interpret rhythm strips, and escalate dysrhythmias per protocol.
- Collaborate with the health care team to develop and implement care plans; document in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred).
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical standards; participate in rounding, discharge planning, and care coordination as appropriate.
- May be required to float to other nearby units or facilities within the same health system to support staffing needs.

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact state; license must be active at time of submission
- NURSYS license verification for all active RN licenses
- Up-to-date BLS certification; NHISS needed prior to start; ACLS preferred
- Dysrhythmia exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80% or higher
- 1-2 years of Med-Surg experience; open to Critical Care RN if comfortable with Med-Surg ratios and acuity
- Telemetry and step-down unit experience; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- RTO requests must be included at submission; driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- Willingness to float to nearby units or facilities within the same system if required
