Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to PCU patients, including ongoing assessment, vital signs monitoring, and timely escalation of changes in condition.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and implement care plans with accuracy and safety.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and family education.
- Document care in the appropriate electronic health record per policy; ensure charting is accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; respond to emergencies and support the comfort and dignity of patients and families.
- Adhere to professional standards and ethics aligned with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Georgia
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
- Ability to work nights and adapt to 12-hour shift requirements
- Contract length of 13 weeks; commitment to a 36-hour weekly schedule
- Preferred: experience in a PCU or related inpatient unit; strong collaboration within an interdisciplinary team
