Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients, including preoperative assessment, sterile technique, patient positioning, and coordination of postoperative care.
- Assist the surgical team with procedures, maintain a sterile field, manage instruments, and ensure proper equipment readiness.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events, and communicate changes to anesthesia and surgical teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to uphold patient safety, correct site and procedure verification, and adherence to infection control standards.
- Participate in call coverage, weekends, and holidays as required, with smooth handoffs to the recovery team.

Requirements
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma experience
- High rating on skills checklist, including neuro and vascular skills
- Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard; access to electronics to use scheduling and hospital apps
