Travel Registered Nurse OR | $3240 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 Hours
Job Details:
Location: Watertown, NY Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Radius Rule: 100-mile radius (no local candidates within 100 miles)
Start Date: May 26, 2026
TRAVELER RADIUS RULE: 100 miles
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate is experienced in perioperative nursing, maintains a sterile environment, and delivers safe, high-quality patient care in the OR setting. Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
Key Requirements
✔Active New York State RN license
✔Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
✔Minimum 2+ years of RN experience required
✔BLS certification required
✔ACLS preferred
✔Must be able to work rotating shifts and on-call schedule
Experience & Skills
✔Recent Operating Room experience strongly preferred
✔Candidates without recent OR experience must complete and pass the
✔AORN Perioperative 101 Program (6 months) as a condition of employment
✔Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance
✔Experience with surgical instrumentation and OR equipment
✔Ability to recognize and respond to safety risks and patient needs
✔Basic understanding of lethal dysrhythmia interpretation
✔Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
