Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for outpatient oncology patients in a clinic setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessments, and develop a care plan to achieve desired outcomes; implement the plan and coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff as appropriate; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Prepare patient, room, and equipment for procedures and assist the physician with minor procedures; perform additional procedures as directed.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient responses, and provide education to patients and families about treatment plans, safety, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with the treatment team, educate patients/families, document care in the medical record, and maintain a safe, high-quality care environment.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of California (required)
- BSN degree preferred
- 2–3 years of recent oncology or outpatient nursing experience preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an approved vendor (required)
- ONC/ONCC-CHIM certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work in an outpatient clinic setting with a rotating 4x10-hour schedule; no on-call duties expected
