Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to oncology outpatients in an outpatient care setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, administer medications per orders, monitor responses, and manage treatment-related side effects.
- Coordinate care with the oncology team and other disciplines; communicate changes and updates to the plan of care.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.
- Document care accurately in the patient record; participate in care planning, symptom management, and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, expected side effects, symptom management, and follow-up needs.

Requirements
- Active RN license (California) in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work in an outpatient care setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Oncology or related outpatient nursing experience is desirable
- ADN or BSN degree
- Eligible for travel assignment and able to maintain flexibility with a 4x10 schedule
