Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill adults in MICU, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator support, and invasive line management.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, implement care plans, administer medications per orders, and titrate vasoactive infusions as needed.
- Respond promptly to clinical changes, manage emergencies, and initiate appropriate escalation and codes when required.
- Monitor patient status via bedside and telemetry equipment; document and communicate findings to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and case management to optimize patient outcomes; maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Maintain infection control practices, ensure patient safety, deliver comfort measures, and provide clear family updates; participate in daily rounds and care coordination.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligible to practice in the state)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/MICU nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS certification required
- Education: Graduate of an approved nursing program (RN)
- Ability to work in a high-acuity MICU environment and manage complex patient needs
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
