Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults on Med/Surg Telemetry, including routine assessments and care planning
- Monitor telemetry data, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to abnormalities per protocol
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; monitor for adverse reactions
- Collaborate with the care team, participate in rounds, and communicate patient status during handoffs
- Document care in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Float to similar MS Tele floors and overflow areas as needed to maintain unit coverage

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Ability to pass Telemetry competency exam and onboarding ECG/Telemetry and medication assessments (one attempt; 85% required)
- Willingness to float to like units and overflow areas; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
