Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients during day shifts
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, intake and output, and response to treatments; document findings promptly
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered; assist with procedures as needed
- Maintain telemetry monitoring where appropriate and escalate concerns to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and therapy services to plan and implement care
- Prepare patients for discharge and provide education to patients and families to support safe transitions

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in Iowa or eligible for a multi-state license
- BLS certification
- Ability to work a day shift in a hospital setting and adapt to a travel assignment
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
