Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to Med Surg Telemetry patients, including monitoring hemodynamics and telemetry.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, documenting accurately and communicating changes to the care team.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring safety and proper patient education.
- Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and clinical changes, following facility protocols and escalation procedures.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including charge nurses and physicians, to coordinate timely discharge planning and patient flow.
- Float to adjacent MS Tele floors and overflow areas as needed, maintaining patient safety and high standards of care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Must be able to float to MS Tele floors and overflow areas as needed
- Onboarding includes pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and medications tests requiring successful completion (one attempt) prior to start
