Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the Med Surg unit for adult inpatients, including initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and response to clinical changes
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and document appropriately
- Perform and document accurate vitals, wound care, pain management, and basic procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, case managers, and other nursing colleagues; participate in rounds and contribute to discharge planning
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, observe infection control protocols, and assist with patient transfers and documentation in the electronic charting system

Requirements
- Active New York State RN license required at time of submission
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience; travel experience required
- Willingness to float within the hospital as needed at manager’s discretion
- Relias EKG exam required within 72 hours of signing; must pass initially
- Submit with application: recent Nursys verification, current certifications, and professional references
