Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults on a high-acuity Med-Surg/Respiratory Care unit, with focus on stability and safety
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in patient condition, and respond to emergencies per protocol
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies; manage clinical procedures as ordered
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapy, and case management; educate patients and families
- Document care and outcomes accurately in the EMR (Cerner experience preferred)

Requirements
- Active RN license in NH or a Compact state; license must be valid at time of submission; NURSYS verification required
- 2+ years of experience in Med-Surg and/or telemetry
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NHISS required prior to start
- Dysrhythmia exam with a preferred score of 80% during onboarding
- Willingness to work on a high-acuity Med-Surg/Respiratory unit; unit size around 20 beds; patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:5, sometimes 1:6
- Ability to work nights and potentially float to other unit locations within the same system in NH
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics or established local transportation
