Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg/Acute Neuro Unit, including ongoing assessment and monitoring.
- Conduct neuro assessments and track neurological status, adjusting care plans as indicated.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapies; monitor for adverse reactions and document responses.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team to develop and update patient care plans.
- Document care activities accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure clear communication during handoffs.
- Maintain patient safety through fall precautions, infection control, and timely response to changes in condition.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia.
- Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant experience in Med Surg or Neuro/high-acuity medical-surgical settings.
- Certifications: AHA BLS and NIH Certification required; AHA ACLS preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 12x3 pattern and to cover major holidays as required.
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment.
- Must be able to work effectively in an acute care hospital environment.
