Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care for telemetry-enabled Med Surg patients under the direction of the Nurse Manager, following established standards.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, vital signs, and patient responses; administer medications and treatments per physicians’ orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in rounding, and provide patient and family education.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Assume Level II responsibilities as needed, including potential charge nurse duties, precepting new staff, and participating in unit committees when assigned.
- Uphold evidence-based practice and participate in continuing education and unit quality improvement activities.

Requirements
- License: New York RN license required
- Certification: BLS (American Heart Association) required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Specialty/Experience: Telemetry experience required
- Additional: Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, with on-call/holiday requirements as needed
