Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg (Renal) – travel assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. Work in a clinical Renal Medical-Surgical unit starting 10/19/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Earn $1,870–$2,003 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) on a 3x12 schedule, every other weekend required. The unit is a high-acuity Renal/Med-Surg setting with telemetry and multidisciplinary care coordination. You may float within scope to similar Med-Surg units as needed. No on-call requirement. Start date options include 9/21/2026 or 10/19/2026 for eligible travelers; returning Genesis travelers within 9 months may have different start-date eligibility.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients in a 19-bed unit, including post-dialysis and AKI/CKD management
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry; respond to changes in patient status
- Administer medications, perform procedures within scope, and coordinate care with nephrology and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic EMR; ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Float to similar Med-Surg units as needed (Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED boarders) while maintaining scope of practice
- Complete a competency assessment on Day 1; adhere to unit policies and procedures

Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license required at submission
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience; renal experience strongly preferred
- Epic EMR proficiency mandatory; ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Ability to float within scope to similar Med-Surg units and work in a high-volume environment
- RTO/disclosure requirements: all requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included on the confirmation page
